A typing race you can join in one click
KeyRush is a free multiplayer typing game in the spirit of Klavogonki. Press Quick start and you join the next race: a short countdown, then the text appears and every racer types the same passage. Your car moves with every correct character. Make a typo and the word turns red — fix it before you can go on. The first to finish wins.
When few people are online, bots fill the empty seats so a race never waits for long. Bots are always labelled bot and never count in the leaderboards.
Race modes
- Normal — passages from classic books in the public domain (Austen, Twain, Conan Doyle, Dickens and others).
- Sprint and Marathon — short and long texts.
- Words — the most common English words, great for warming up.
- Digits and Abracadabra — numbers and random letters that train your fingers, not your memory.
- No mistakes — one typo and you are out.
Prefer Russian? Switch the text language to Russian, or open the Russian version.

Questions
How is speed calculated?
WPM is characters typed divided by five, per minute, the usual typing-test standard. We also show characters per minute. Errors you fix still cost you time, and the error count and accuracy are shown after each race.
Do I need an account?
No. Your racer name and stats are kept on this device. Pick a name on the home screen and it is reserved for you once you finish a race.
Can I race my friends?
Yes. Choose Create private race, send the code or link, and start when everyone has joined.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The text and input are sized for phones, and the race works with any on-screen keyboard. Turn off autocorrect suggestions for the best speed.
